NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING and MEETING

Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22 (F)

     The Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Deer Park, Ohio shall meet on Monday, the 22nd day of April, 2024, at  SIX  P.M., in the City Council Chambers of the Deer Park Municipal Building, located at 7777 Blue Ash Rd, Deer Park, Ohio.                                                            

    The purpose of said hearing and meeting shall be to consider three separate items:   

                        1) an appeal to an administrative ruling, and 2) 2 variance requests:

  • 4239 Oakwood Ave: Appealing of decision by the Building Commissioner to deny a zoning request for the proposed construction of a 2 family structure in an R-1 Single Family District Zone.
  • 4275 Redmont Ave : A zoning variance request for fence height on a corner lot (2 front yards). Requesting a 6 ft high section of fencing; code is a maximum of 3 foot high.
  • 7801 Matson Ct: A zoning variance request for fence height on a corner lot (2 front yards). Requesting a 4 ft high section of fencing; code is a maximum of 3 foot high.

A copy of this Notice shall be posted at the locations in the City of Deer Park, Ohio where ordinances are required to be posted; said posting to take place at least   6   days before the meeting.  In addition, at least twenty four hours advance notice shall be given to the news media that have requested notification.  Any person may, upon request and payment of a reasonable fee, obtain reasonable advance notification of all meetings at which any specific type of public business is to be discussed.  The agenda of the meeting shall be mailed to all subscribers on a mailing list, or mailing notices in self-addressed stamped envelopes provided by the person
