Congratulations Deer Park residents! In 2017, we recycled 442.20 tons of metal, glass, plastic and paper. Residents saved resources, conserved energy, and reduced pollution by recycling.

The recycling efforts in Deer Park:

  • Conserved enough energy to power every home in Deer Park for 13 days.
  • Reduced more air pollution than if every household in Deer Park rode their bicycle to work for two months.
  • Saved 3,871 trees from being harvested.

On average, each household in Deer Park recycled 400 pounds in 2017. That’s 12.96% of all the waste we generate.

Thank you Deer Park!
