Free public Wi-Fi is coming to Deer Park this fall! We are sending out letters to property owners along  Blue Ash Road, Webster Ave, Plainfield Road, E Galbraith Road, and Matson Ave. In this mailing is information in regards to what we need to accomplish to make this a reality for our city.  Please consider joining our effort.  Below are links to information that has been sent out.

On Sat Sept 11, 2021, at 10 a.m., the City of Deer Park's World Trade Center/9-11 Memorial Committee will host a dedication ceremony for the new 9-11 memorial

Have you ever wondered what to do with old/outdated prescription drugs you have and just want to get rid of?

You can bring them to the Deer Park Police Department and they will safely dispose of them for you.  Simply bring them up to the Police Department and let the dispatcher know you have some prescription drugs you want to dispose of and they will take it from there!

The final course of black top for the Blue Ash Road Improvement Project is scheduled to be done during the week of June 14 - 18, 2021.  Striping and final work to be done week of June 21 - June 25. The parking areas will be milled & ground, and then the road & parking re-surfaced.  There is no parking along the R/R tracks during the construction.  The curbside parking on the street should be available 7 pm - 6 am.  Thank you for your patience, and please be safety minded for the workers.

A $90,000 grant from the federal Community Development Block Grant Funding has been awarded to the City of Deer Park for 22 access points along the newly improved Blue Ash Road corridor, as well as a section of Galbraith and Plainfield, creating a WiFi "loop" within these main city corridors. Chamberlin Park and the community center will also be served by this project. St. Johns Terrace from Plainfield to the dead-end into the park will begin utility and road construction June 7 & run through October 15, 2021.  During that time, the street will be open to residents only. Construction hours are from 7 am -7 pm, & no on-street parking will be allowed.   An orange metal sign labeling the project announcement of 105831,  the bike connector project, will be located at the entrance to St. Johns off Plainfield Road. 

The park track will close off from just before the diamond for removal of the walking path to install a bike path and walking path. In addition, the walking path crossing on the south end of the park crossing over the railroad tracks will be closed to install an ADA and pedestrian crossing on the railroad track.

There will be a Public Hearing regarding the City of Deer Park 2022 Tax Budget on June 14,2021 at 6:30 PM at the City Building, 7777 Blue Ash Road before the regular council meeting. The public is invited to attend.
