Thank you for your recycling efforts ! In 2018, the Deer Park residents recycled 334.96 TONS & composted (yard trimmings) 677.07 TONS, diverting this from the landfill.  This is about a 25 % diversion rate.  For every ton that is diverted, the city receives a monetary incentive rebate from the Hamilton County Solid Waste and Recycling District.  For 2018, this amounted to $8,243 to Deer Park, to be used for recycling programs.  The more that is recycled and diverted from the landfill, the higher the rebate.
